Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using MakerProof ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part, you may not access the Service.
Description of Service
MakerProof is a SaaS platform that:
- Connects to your Stripe account via read-only API access
- Generates embeddable revenue widgets showing MRR, Total Revenue and subscriber counts
- Provides customization options and themes
- Syncs revenue data automatically
Account Registration
Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old
- You must have a valid Stripe account
- You must provide accurate and complete information
- You are responsible for maintaining account security
Account Responsibilities
- Keep your password secure and confidential
- Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
- You are responsible for all activity under your account
- One account per person/business
Stripe Integration
API Key Requirements
- You must provide a restricted, read-only Stripe API key
- The key must only have permissions to read: charges, customers, subscriptions, and balance
- You are responsible for creating and managing your API key securely
- You can revoke access anytime by deleting the key in Stripe
Data Accuracy
- We display data as provided by Stripe's API
- We are not responsible for inaccuracies in your Stripe data
- Revenue calculations are based on active subscriptions normalized to monthly values

Pro Plan ($5/month)
- Unlimited widgets
- 10 premium themes (6 solid, 4 gradient)
- Custom hex colors
- 6 premium fonts
- 5-minute real-time sync
- Remove watermark
- Pro badge
- Priority support
Billing
- Pro subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe
- Payment is due at the start of each billing period
- Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice
- No refunds for partial months
Cancellation
- You can cancel Pro anytime from your dashboard
- Access continues until the end of your billing period
- After cancellation, you revert to the Free plan automatically
- You can re-subscribe anytime
Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use the Service for illegal purposes
- Display false or misleading revenue data
- Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the Service
- Overload or disrupt Service infrastructure
- Remove copyright notices or branding (Free plan)
- Resell or redistribute the Service
- Use the Service to spam or harass others
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Widget Usage
Embedding
- You may embed widgets on any platform you control
- Widgets must display accurate data from your Stripe account
- You must not modify widget code to display false information
- We reserve the right to disable widgets that violate these Terms
Public Display
- Embedded widgets are publicly accessible
- You are responsible for the platforms where you embed widgets
- We are not liable for how others use or interpret your displayed data
Intellectual Property
Our Rights
- MakerProof, its logo, and design are our trademarks
- All Service code, design, and features are our intellectual property
- You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works without permission
Your Rights
- You retain ownership of your Stripe data
- You retain ownership of your customizations and widget designs
- You grant us a license to display and process your data to provide the Service
Data and Privacy
- Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy
- We use bank-grade security to protect your data
- We never access write permissions on your Stripe account
- We do not sell your personal information
Service Availability
Uptime
- We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee it
- Scheduled maintenance will be announced when possible
- We are not liable for service interruptions
Changes to Service
- We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with notice
- We will provide 30 days notice for significant changes
- We may release new features that become part of the Terms
Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
- Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of data
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- Security or freedom from viruses
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the last 12 months
- We are not liable for losses resulting from unauthorized access to your account
- We are not liable for inaccuracies in Stripe data or revenue calculations
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- Your Stripe data or widgets you create
Termination
By You
- You may delete your account anytime from your dashboard
- Cancelling Pro does not delete your account
By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
- You violate these Terms
- You engage in fraudulent activity
- Required by law
- You abuse or misuse the Service
Upon termination:
- Your access to the Service ends immediately
- Your widgets may stop functioning
- Your data will be deleted within 30 days
- Pro subscriptions are cancelled (no refunds)
Dispute Resolution
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
Arbitration
Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except:
- Small claims court actions
- Intellectual property disputes
- Injunctive relief requests
Class Action Waiver
You agree to resolve disputes individually, not as part of a class action or representative proceeding.
General Provisions
Entire Agreement
These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and MakerProof.
Severability
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right.
Assignment
You may not assign these Terms. We may assign our rights and obligations to any party.
Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. We will:
- Update the "Last Updated" date
- Notify you via email or dashboard notification for material changes
- Post the updated Terms on our website
Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
